Russia Accuses Ukraine of Planning Terror Attacks in Crimea
August 10, 2016- Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) claim they have foiled planned "terror attacks" by Ukrainian Intelligence in Crimea. FSB said a group of infiltrators were preparing to target the infrastructure of the annexed peninsula. When FSB went to go arrest the suspected infiltrators in the town of Armyansk, fire was exchanged and an FSB operator was killed. Russian officials said homemade explosives and weapons used by Ukraine special forces were found on scene. A Russian serviceman was also killed when shots were exchanged between Ukraine armored vehicles and Russian troops near the border when Ukraine forces reportedly tried to "invade". Ukraine officials have refused to comment on the subject, calling the reports "fake".
